Founded at Yale University in 1895, Pi Lambda Phi was the first non-sectarian fraternity in the United States, accepting men of good character without regard to race or religion. Today, Pi Lambda Phi chapters at colleges and universities in the United States and Canada cultivate communities that promote academics, leadership, social skills, and lifelong fraternal bonds. Pi Lambda Phi men build skills that will help them succeed in their post-graduate endeavors in an environment free from hazing and drug and alcohol abuse.

The Florida Delta Chapter of Pi Lambda Phi was established in 1925 at the University of Florida. Florida Delta boasts an alumni base of over 2000 alumni and brotherhood ties which extend beyond the undergraduate experience, truly living up to our motto, “Not four years, but a lifetime”.
